Checking on Wellbeing in the Workplace

We can provide a qualified nursing practitioner at your workplace to perform Health MOTs on your workforce.

The Basic Health MOT tests blood pressure, cholesterol, height and weight to identify an individual’s risk factor for developing cardiovascular disease over the next 10 years.

The Advanced Health MOT also tests for diabetes and the risk of developing diabetes.

Results are given to employees in an individualised report.  The report is easy to understand, utilising a traffic light system (“green, amber, red”).  If a particular risk is identified, the employee is given advice and assistance to help reduce it.

How Loch can help

A confidential, anonymous report is produced for the employees at the conclusion of the process, giving an overview of the workforce’s general state of health and wellbeing and making recommendations as to ways the employer can further support the health and wellbeing of its workforce.

A Health MOT can help detect potential problems at an early stage which, in turn, can ensure early intervention and treatment thereby drastically reducing the likelihood of further disease development or serious side effects.

An individual Health MOT consultation lasts 20 minutes.  A maximum of 20 Health MOT consultations can be conducted in one day.
