Supporting Employee Health and Resilience

33.7 million working days were lost to work-related ill health in 2023/24, with stress, anxiety, and depression responsible for nearly 70% of absences.

While employers have a fundamental duty of care for the health, safety and welfare of their workers, wellbeing and development extends beyond compliance. Organisations thrive when they take a holistic approach to wellbeing and training, developing proactive strategies, and embedding a culture that supports mental, emotional, and physical health.

Deloitte’s 2024 Wellbeing at Work Survey found that while 90% of executives believe their company supports employee wellbeing, only 43% of employees agree. Offering learning and development opportunities to employees shows a commitment to investment in their growth, and is key to building a workforce that is not only engaged but also resilient and high-performing.

Our wellbeing initiatives and training courses include:

  • Stress Management & Mindfulness: This training helps organisations equip their employees with tools to manage workplace stress, both for themselves and colleagues. One powerful option is Living in The Present, an 8-week programme (1 hour per week) delivered by our Certified Mindfulness teacher. This course can be delivered online for organisations that want to fully commit to supporting employee wellbeing.
  • Workplace Wellbeing Workshops: These interactive sessions boost resilience and self-care. Learners are able to discuss challenges and identify solutions in a safe, confidential environment.
  • Wellness Checks: On-site health assessments by qualified professionals. Our qualified nursing practitioner can attend your workplace to perform Health MOTs on your workforce. Results and advice are provided confidentially to each individual. Employers receive an anonymised report on general workforce health and wellbeing, with recommendations for further support.  We can also perform food allergy testing ad glucose testing.
  • Bereavement and Loss Edu-Therapy & Counselling: We help organisations provide employees with counselling or a cognitive behavioural programme to help manage loss and other emotional challenges.
